Job summary

Ground Control is seeking a Contract Manager to lead regional grounds maintenance across Berkshire and surrounding areas. You will own the region, build relationships with clients, and drive high standards of service and safety.

The role requires proven leadership, ability to manage teams and subcontractors, and a proactive attitude to identify growth opportunities while maintaining exceptional client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing grounds maintenance or horticultural contracts.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to travel across the region.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own region and maintain strong client relationships across sites.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of grounds maintenance and ensure standards.
• Build long-term client relationships and manage expectations.
• Provide clear leadership to DE teams and subcontractors; monitor performance.
• Plan and prioritise daily/seasonal operations ensuring SLAs and safety.
• Identify opportunities for extra works and regional growth.
• Tackle issues early with sound judgement and calm approach.
• Collaborate with Regional Operations Directors and HSQE for seamless service.
