Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Regional Fleet Engineer to join our Fleet Services Team. You will ensure our vehicles are safe and compliant, upskill depot staff, and oversee defect and booking procedures.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring supplier performance, associated services, and costs, and auditing work quality.
• Conducting weight checks, fleet inspections, and site audits.
• Identifying causes of vehicle damage and collaborating with depot management to reduce damage.
• Ensuring suppliers meet company requirements regarding cost and legal compliance, including health and safety.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have extensive vehicle mechanical knowledge and experience in the transport sector. Additional requirements include:

• Ability to perform internal audits
• Strong financial awareness
• Decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with employees and suppliers
