Job summary

Vistra is hiring a Regional Financial Controller for the UK, Ireland and Channel Islands. The role reports to the Group Financial Controller and can be based in London, Reading or Bristol, offering regional coverage and significant impact on business growth.

You will lead the regional financial controlling team, implement robust internal controls, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide insightful financial reporting and decision support across multiple subsidiaries and business units.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in an equivalent role within a comparably sized organisation.
• Demonstrated track record of success across geographically and culturally diverse operations.
• Desirable: experience in corporate services, fund administration, or PE portfolio company.
• Possibly 15+ years of professional experience as part of the candidate profile.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present accurate monthly management reporting, quarterly reporting and annual audited financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls; manage internal audits and risk mitigation.
• Lead and develop the regional financial controlling team; provide strategic financial leadership.
• Oversee consolidation of subsidiary reporting and integration of acquired entities.
• Perform financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and value creation.
• Support strategic initiatives including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and other corporate finance activities.

Education

Bachelor's degree

Accounting qualification (CFA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA)

MBA or equivalent
