Job Description

Reporting to the UK-based controller and International FC, the Senior Finance Manager will oversee all financial operations across Europe. You will lead a team of five and play a critical role in group reporting, statutory compliance, cash flow and treasury management, risk mitigation, and process improvement. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and consolidation of regional financial reports and presentation to group stakeholders.
  • Oversight of cash flow, treasury, and reporting packages for holding companies.
  • Management of audits, tax compliance, and statutory filings across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Enhancement of internal controls and mitigation of financial risks.
  • Business partnering with regional leaders, HQ finance teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Leadership of statutory reporting and sub-consolidation for overseas auditors and banking partners.
  • Driving improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting efficiency.
  • Playing a key role in new finance systems implementations and ERP improvements.
  • Developing and coaching the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate should be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role. They should have strong technical expertise in group reporting (IFRS & local GAAP), statutory accounts, and audits. Proven experience in an international, multi-entity finance environment is essential. Experience in manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, or retail sectors is advantageous. The candidate should be proficient in financial systems and Excel, confident in stakeholder management, adaptable, proactive, organized, and possess strong business acumen. Skills in coaching, team development, and fostering collaboration are important.
