Job description

Regional Financial Controller

The purpose of this role is to work in partnership with Regional Managing Directors and Directors across the JPS and MBS business units to support the delivery of a customer and profitable growth strategy.

What you'll be doing:

  1. Strategic Finance Leadership: Support the implementation, delivery and ongoing tracking of key regional initiatives to deliver sales and EBITDA growth.
  2. Business Partnering: Contribute to the achievement of the business objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy; focusing on identifying and driving improvement to the bottom line.
  3. Decision Support: Generate insightful reporting and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and ultimately support the profitable growth of the business.
  4. Performance Management and Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to identify and address discrepancies between planned and actual financial performance.
  5. Financial Planning and Analysis: Manage the financial planning process and own the production of the budget and re-forecasts for the relevant functional cost bases.
What you'll need to have:
  1. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent accounting qualification with commercial experience gained post qualification.
  2. Proven ability to turn data analysis into profit.
  3. Proficient in financial modeling, but able to summarize the big picture simply and clearly.
  4. Experience of working with Exec members and with cross-functional and matrix-structured working environments.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  6. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively.
  7. A clear presenter of data, and confident dealing directly with senior stakeholders.
