Job summary

CV Technical is seeking a Regional Field Service Engineer to service, repair and install commercial catering equipment across the Midlands. You will handle gas and electrical systems, perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with Gas Safe regulations.

The role requires hands-on service across a varied customer base with a focus on quality and reliability. Ideal candidates will be Gas Safe registered with catering qualifications and have a track record in service of commercial kitchen

Qualifications

• Gas Safe Registration with commercial catering categories is required.
• COMCAT 1, COMCAT 3 and COMCAT 5 qualifications are required.
• CCCN1 - Core Commercial Catering Gas Safety knowledge is essential.
• Proven experience servicing, repairing and maintaining commercial catering equipment.
• Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and safety standards.
• Strong electrical fault-finding, wiring and testing skills.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and install commercial catering equipment in commercial/industrial environments.
• Work on gas and electric fryers, ovens, microwaves, and cleaning equipment.
• Carry out gas safety inspections, compliance checks and certification.
• Diagnose and rectify faults to minimise downtime.
• Ensure work complies with Gas Safe regulations and best practices.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work and materials used.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build strong client relationships.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Regional Field Service Engineer to join a leading service organisation specialising in commercial catering equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer with strong gas and electrical knowledge to work across a varied customer base, servicing, maintaining and installing commercial kitchen equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, repair and install commercial catering equipment in commercial and industrial environments
• Work on a wide range of equipment including gas and electric fryers, ovens, industrial microwaves and cleaning equipment
• Carry out gas safety inspections, compliance checks and certification
• Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently to minimise customer downtime
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Gas Safe regulations and industry best practices
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work carried out and materials used
• Deliver excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients

Essential Requirements

• Gas Safe Registered with commercial catering categories
• COMCAT 1, COMCAT 3 and COMCAT 5 qualifications
• CCCN1 - Core Commercial Catering Gas Safety
• Proven experience servicing, repairing and maintaining commercial catering equipment

• Full UK driving licence
