Regional Executive Headteacher

Location: Merseyside

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience + benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and strategic school leader to join a growing organisation as a Regional Executive Headteacher, overseeing specialist education provisions across the Liverpool and Wirral area.

In this key leadership role, you will:

  • Provide direct line management to two established schools in the region, ensuring high standards of education, safeguarding, and operational excellence.
  • Lead the planning, development, and successful launch of a new SEMH provision, due to open in 2026.

This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact across multiple sites while playing a central role in the growth and development of specialist education in the region.

Candidate requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience at Headteacher or Executive Headteacher level, ideally within SEND/SEMH settings.
  • Strong track record of school improvement and staff development.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to lead change and manage growth effectively.
  • Committed to inclusive, child-centred education.
