AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) in London is seeking an Environmental Engineer to support site development and regulatory compliance. The AWS Environmental team is an expanding and dynamic team that is critical to enabling AWS’s growth around the world and ensuring compliance of AWS’s global operations, including physical data centers, other AWS facilities, customer‑facing enterprises and products.
Environmental Engineer (London, UK) – Established to support site development and environmental compliance. The engineer will ensure standards and policies support regulatory operational compliance, and provide environmental guidance to regional operations teams. Responsibilities include environmental performance analysis, reporting, monitoring metrics and guiding operations teams in implementing Amazon environmental procedures. The engineer will support new site development, including environmental permit preparation, communication with authorities, and operational compliance, and will work with internal and external partners including government entities, contractors, consultants, design, construction, operations and other stakeholders.
