Job Description

We have a new and exciting opening for a Fire & Security Systems Regional Engineering Manager to cover West London and the South West of England. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong customer service and engineering management skills looking for a rewarding and fast-paced role. Ideally, you should be based along the M4 corridor for easy access to all areas.

About the Role
  • Growing the region's contractual service income (currently over £2.5m) through liaising with new and existing customers to expand service offerings.
  • Managing engineering performance to ensure 95% response targets to our customer base are met.
  • Managing PPM performance, achieving 100% completion of scheduled works within deadlines.
  • Enhancing first fix performance by identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Overseeing a team of 13 engineers to ensure adherence to G4S values and processes.
  • Overseeing small works projects.
  • Managing reactive billing and planned works to align monthly income with P&L targets.
  • Conducting customer meetings and account management.
Responsibilities
  • Operational management of a service engineering team in the fire & security systems industry, with knowledge of access, CCTV, intruder, and fire safety systems.
  • Possessing engineering qualifications or experience in fire & security installation and servicing.
  • Hands-on experience in installing and/or servicing fire & security systems, with experience managing an engineering team.
  • At least 5 years of verifiable work history.
  • Unrestricted right to work in the UK/EU.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow procedures.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and work varying hours as needed.
