I'm currently working on a Regional Electrical Service Engineer role for a family owned company in Staffordshire. You will deally have a background working within Industrial environments and being responsible carrying out Maintenance and Installation work.


Role Description

  • Electrical installation to include single/three phase supplies, installing tray work and conduit.

  • Maintain electrical systems and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently
  • Conduct regular inspections, tests, and preventative maintenance of electrical systems
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to support ongoing projects
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Produce detailed reports and documentation for all electrical work completed
  • Conducting general electrical systems maintenance and troubleshooting electrical issues with testing equipment
  • Install, service, and maintain electrical systems and appliances in accordance with the current edition of IET Wiring Regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

  • A relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering.

  • Proven experience in electrical engineering, ideally within an industrial or commercial setting.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and circuit design
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., IET wiring regulations, health and safety)
  • Clean driving licence
