Purpose of Role

At VINCI Facilities, we deliver integrated FM and construction solutions across a diverse range of sectors, including Defence, Healthcare, MOJ, and Education. We are looking for a Regional Document Control Manager to join our Building Solutions Team and oversee the successful implementation, compliance, and continuous improvement of our Electronic Document Management Systems across multiple construction contracts in your region.

Job Description

As Regional Document Control Manager, you’ll be the subject matter expert responsible for the management and optimisation of our document control and information management platforms- we are currently migrating from Viewpoint to Aconex. Working closely with project teams, contract leads, and IT colleagues, your mission is to ensure document governance, version control, and audit readiness are consistently maintained whilst managing a team of Document Controllers across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Document Control deployment and administration across regional contracts
  • Ensure compliance with company and client document control procedures
  • Line Manager the Regional Team with responsibility for between eight to twelve Document Controllers
  • Support contract mobilisation, onboarding, and training of project teams
  • Monitor system usage and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with operational, commercial, and compliance teams to ensure accurate record-keeping

Essential Qualifications/Skills

  • Proven experience on construction or FM projects
  • Proficient in the platforms such as Viewpoint, Aconex, SharePoint, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of audit/compliance processes
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and training delivery skills
  • A proactive, organised, and tech-savvy approach
  • Previous people management experience is desirable, but we are open to an experienced Lead Doc
  • Controller looking to step up to the next level
