Position

Riverbed is looking for a seasoned Enterprise Sales Leader to run our UKI region. Reporting to the SVP EMEA, you will lead a team of Enterprise Account Executives selling into large enterprise accounts across the largest UK companies (including Government), balancing management activities including quota setting, forecasting, goal and development planning and recruiting.

What you will do

Business Management:

  • As part of the EMEA Sales Management Team, lead in the development of the assigned regions goals, strategies and actions.
  • Ensure timely execution of these strategies and actions.
  • Set and execute an appropriate sales strategy that covers go to market, hi-touch, channel, alliances and partnerships
  • Ensure business forecasts and revenue reports are produced and presented on time.
  • Set sales revenue targets and drive these down throughout the sales organization.
  • Recruit, coach, develop and motivate high calibre sales professionals
  • Build a high-performance, solutions-sales based sales culture.
  • Drive the performance management process which tracks sales person productivity and drives increases in effectiveness.

Business Development:

  • Create and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers within large customers and partners.
  • Demonstrate the drive and determination required to close large opportunities.
  • Work with regional sales teams to identify, prioritize and qualify new business opportunities, working closely with other parts of the sales organization as required.
  • Develop and effectively present The Company’s value proposition, roadmap and vision to key customers and strategic partners in the region.
  • Influence C-level executives within strategic accounts.
  • Develop and manage regional channel partner effectiveness.
  • Build a short and long-term pipeline of business
  • Ensure attainment of quarterly revenue goals
  • Maintain perfect linearity and forecasting accuracy

What makes you an ideal candidate

  • Proven success in leading and motivating successful SaaS/Software sales teams
  • Must have experience owning an annual team quota of $15m+
  • Domain competent in a least one of the following disciplines: Visibility/Observability, SaaS, Cloud Architecture
  • Ability to successfully complete solo sales meetings and presentations with little or no supervision at the highest level of an organization
  • Excellent business writing and presentation skills
