Job Summary

We are seeking a Regional Director of Media & Story Telling to lead our external communications efforts outside North America, based in London or Glasgow. You will develop and execute media strategies, foster relationships with media and stakeholders, and enhance our global brand reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a global external marketing communications plan aligned with BV’s strategy.
  • Research and pitch to strategic media outlets, and manage media relations and storytelling initiatives.
  • Support local media programs and facilitate media tours and briefings.
  • Build relationships with key media and influencers in Europe, Middle East, and Asia Pacific.
  • Generate media coverage to promote BV’s brand and value proposition.
  • Leverage digital marketing tools and analytics to measure and improve media impact.
  • Coach executives for media interviews and manage crisis communications.
  • Collaborate with regional teams and represent BV in media inquiries.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, or related field (preferred but not required).
  • Experience with traditional and digital media ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of media standards in Europe, Middle East, and Asia Pacific.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages like Spanish, Arabic, or German are a plus.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to travel up to 25% for events and media relations.
  • Experience in crisis management and quick decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications

Proven experience in media relations, corporate communications, journalism, or B2B marketing with a track record of measurable outcomes in media coverage and corporate positioning.
