Job summary

The YES Trust West Midlands seeks a Regional Director for School Improvement to lead strategic improvement across designated schools. You will work alongside Executive Headteachers and Headteachers to strengthen leadership, drive sustainable change, and raise outcomes through evidence-informed support.

Reporting to the Director of Education, you will evaluate effectiveness, quality assure SEFs/SDPs, monitor progress, and provide regular assurance reports to trustees.

Qualifications

• Accomplished educational leader with a proven track record of securing school improvement.
• Experience working with Executive Headteachers and Trust leaders.
• Strong ability to analyse data and translate into action.

Responsibilities

• Lead a programme of regional school improvement and quality assurance.
• Evaluate effectiveness of leadership, curriculum and safeguarding.
• Provide professional challenge and support to senior leaders across hubs.
• Monitor progress against priorities and milestones, ensuring impact.
• Report regularly to Director of Education and Trustees with clear recommendations.
• Support succession planning and leadership development.
