What you’ll be doing

• To take strategic responsibility for securing new business gains within the 100k market sector of a Veolia territory in support of the Regional Sales team growth targets.
• Establish foundations for long lasting and profitable business with large and high profile customers within the territory across a cross section of industries and sectors.
• Act as Project Manager for all contract tendering exercises, acting as the point of reference throughout the process.
• Ensure the operational stakeholders are fully briefed and understanding of the customer requirements as part of the Bid/No Bid process and subsequent commercial decisions.
• Guide and support the financial monitoring team and lead the subsequent commercial bid sign off process aligned to the appropriate delegation of authority levels.
• Support the Veolia Bid Team to ensure all submissions are produced with the appropriate stakeholder involvement/content and submitted aligned to the correct timescales.
• Liaise with the Veolia legal team to review all contractual requirements/liabilities prior to the commercial bid sign off process and any post award contractual negotiation.
• Manage the integration of new customers through their contract implementation prior to handover to their Account Manager.

What we’re looking for

Essential:

• Previous Bid writing and presentation skills.
• GCSEs in English & Maths of Grade C or above.
• Waste industry experience/understanding.
• Previous project management experience.
• Tender management experience.
• An effective communicator with the ability to self generate business opportunities.
