Salary – Up to £50,000 DOE

We are seeking a Regional Depot Manager to lead and expand our home delivery network as part of our strategic growth. This is an exciting opportunity within our 'Driven Logistics' division, part of the Buy It Direct Group. Based in Castle Donington and Huddersfield, you will report to the Logistics Director and oversee daily depot operations, ensuring efficiency and timely deliveries to enhance customer satisfaction. The role involves managing a 24-hour operation, focusing on performance, compliance, and continuous improvement to meet KPIs.

You will directly manage two depot supervisors and three driver trainers, in addition to overseeing delivery crews. This position offers significant impact on customer service and staff engagement, with potential for career advancement within our expansion plans.

The Role:

• Improve delivery performance and investigate damages or losses, implementing corrective actions.
• Utilize customer satisfaction tools to enhance the customer experience.
• Create a positive and engaging work environment for depot staff.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and network improvements.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance and repair to ensure a clean, safe fleet.
• Lead recruitment, training, and retention initiatives.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and operational procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with HR on personnel issues and maintain accurate records.
• Provide holiday cover for the Southern Regional General Manager and support business change initiatives.
