Main duties of the job

As the Regional Decorator, you will be responsible for carrying out decoration and improvement works across Avery Healthcare's care homes. This includes sourcing materials and equipment, collaborating with various teams to plan and deliver projects, and conducting regular inspections and reporting. The role requires solid knowledge across traditional building trades, understanding of health and safety practices, and the ability to work independently with initiative to create welcoming spaces for the residents.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Regional Decorator, you'll be the creative force behind the look and feel of our care homes. You'll carry out decoration and improvement works across our Avery Healthcare Group, helping ensure our spaces are as welcoming and uplifting as the people in them.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Sourcing materials and equipment for decoration projects
  • Collaborating with Estates, Care Home, and Regional Directors to plan and deliver improvements
  • Preparing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Conducting regular inspections and producing detailed reports on completed works
