Job summary

Compass Group UK is seeking an Area Support Manager to drive culinary excellence across a portfolio of workplace dining operations in North Wales and the North West. You will coach and develop Catering Managers and Chef Managers, implement menus and seasonal concepts, and ensure consistent high brand standards across multiple sites.

The role requires a strong culinary background, multi-site leadership, and flexibility to travel.

Qualifications

• Strong culinary background in contract catering or hospitality.
• Experience coaching and developing managers.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region including overnight stays.
• Multi-site operational experience.
• Knowledge of food safety, compliance and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Champion Dine's food vision and customer experience across multiple sites.
• Support menu implementations, promotions and seasonal initiatives.
• Coach Catering Managers and Chef Managers to build capability.
• Provide hands-on support to achieve excellence in food quality and service.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and performance.
• Conduct site reviews for consistency and compliance.
• Share best practices regionally and embed continuous improvement.
• Support mobilisations and new contract launches.
• Act as ambassador for food innovation and hospitality.
• Occasionally provide operational cover at sites in the portfolio.
