Job summary

Thames Valley Police is seeking Counter Terrorism Prepare Officers (CTPOs) to coordinate regional CT prepare activity, develop plans, test and exercise, debrief and capture learning within the CTP unit, while working alongside frontline partners across the southeast and the national network.

The role requires flexibility in working hours, occasional travel, a full UK Driving Licence, and sophisticated security vetting (DV).

Qualifications

• Experience of planning work over varying time periods in a dynamic environment.
• Skilled communicator, with ability to adapt communication styles and present to diverse audiences.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with ability to learn new systems.
• An effective team player with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate regional CT prepare activity within the CTP unit.
• Review response plans, plan exercises, debrief operational activity and document learning.
• Lead on CT prepare specialisms while supporting the wider team.
• Collaborate with frontline partners across the southeast and the national network.
