Job summary

Equinix is seeking a Controls Engineering Manager for the North Region, overseeing Ireland, UK, Sweden and Finland. You will lead a regional team of controls engineers, providing technical leadership and partnering with Operations, Design Engineering, Construction, Procurement and Project Management to deliver safe, reliable and scalable control systems across Equinix facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams in critical infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of control system design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with safety regulations, quality assurance, and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Controls Engineers.

• Provide technical oversight, guidance, and design reviews for control systems and infrastructure projects.
• Partner with Operations, Design Engineering, Construction, Procurement, and Project Management teams to deliver integrated solutions.

• Champion safety, compliance, and risk management across all engineering activities.
• Support major infrastructure projects, testing activities, and system implementations.
• Ensure systems are designed and maintained for long-term reliability, efficiency, and operational excellence.
