We are seeking a talented individual to join our Compensation Centre of Expertise (COE) at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in London. It is a hybrid role requiring at least three days of in-office work per week.

Regional Compensation Leader – United Kingdom

The Compensation COE is part of the People Strategy Team, which includes HR Strategy, Workforce Planning, Talent & Inclusion, Executive Compensation, Broad-Based Compensation, and Benefits & Mobility. The team provides insights and solutions to support organizational needs, combining technical expertise with a consultative approach.

This role partners with senior leadership within the UK, advising on rewards strategies aligned with Marsh McLennan’s objectives. It represents the UK across all Marsh McLennan businesses and is part of the International Rewards leadership team. The UK Compensation Leader reports to the Marsh McLennan Compensation Leader.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising business and People Function leaders in the UK on rewards strategies and policies.
  • Driving the implementation of reward strategies aligned with the CoE’s philosophy.
  • Collaborating with various departments to understand priorities and deliver solutions.
  • Managing reward program delivery, pay reviews, regulatory compliance, and business initiatives.
  • Leading enterprise-wide compensation projects and initiatives.
  • Monitoring market trends and regulatory changes to inform strategies.
  • Mentoring and developing team members within the UK Compensation Team.

Qualifications include:

  • Extensive experience in total rewards and compensation at a senior level, preferably within finance, banking, professional services, or insurance sectors.
  • Deep understanding of UK regulatory environment (FCA regulations, reporting requirements).
  • Strong consultative and client-centric approach.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
