Job description

Regional Community Engagement Manager (STE contract - 12 months)

As a member of the Accessibility and Engagement Team, the Community Engagement Manager (CEM) will help create positive employee experiences for all employees involved in our Employee Resource Groups (Meta Resource Groups). You will develop strategies and lead programs that foster community and strengthen connections across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM. We seek a team-oriented and skilled practitioner with experience in designing, implementing, and executing programs and events, as well as managing operational efficiencies within our Meta Resource Groups. You will collaborate with leaders at all levels and cross-functional partners (e.g., Internal Communications, Legal, Public Policy, HR, and facilities) to move fast, navigate ambiguity, solve complex problems, resolve conflicts, and make an impact. This is a short-term employment (STE) contract for 12 months.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Leading and executing heritage month strategies for various communities in partnership with MRG Leaders and planning teams.
  2. Providing advisory support to site stakeholders for heritage month activations, community fairs involving MRGs, and other chapter engagements during key moments.
  3. Consulting on and influencing MRG roadmapping, strategy, and overall health, using data (e.g., surveys, feedback) to inform direction.
  4. Coaching MRG Leaders to increase effectiveness in areas like influencing, budget management, policy adherence, conflict resolution, and executive engagement.
  5. Leading recruitment and interviewing for MRG Regional Leadership Teams.
  6. Building efficient end-to-end processes across MRG activities.
  7. Serving as a trusted advisor to MRG Leaders and Executive Sponsors, escalating issues and maintaining community connection.
  8. Driving operational rigor across processes to support global communities effectively.
  9. Applying program and change management principles to execute significant programmatic shifts.
  10. Establishing metrics to measure the impact of MRG programs and initiatives.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • 10+ years of corporate experience in HR, employee engagement, or similar fields.
  • Proven experience in influencing and stakeholder management across organizational levels.
  • Ability to use data insights to drive actions.
  • Experience in project management, strategic operations, and change management.
  • At least 5 years managing Employee Resource Groups.

Preferred qualifications include experience in the technology industry and supporting global or matrixed organizations at scale.
