Be at the heart of collaborative efforts between East Midlands Special Operations Unit (EMSOU) forces as a Regional Communications Officer. You’ll play an integral role in shaping public perceptions, building strong relationships and boosting internal morale through the creation and delivery of compelling communications.

You’ll be

  • Increasing public confidence through design of external communications.
  • Building productive relationships with media at all levels to optimise positive publicity.
  • Using your communications expertise to provide strategic and tactical advice to senior management.

You must have

  • Experience delivering strategic communications for large organisations.
  • Proficient at interpreting complex information and communicating this across multiple channels to varied audiences.
  • Knowledge of legislation impacting media reporting and criminal justice procedures.
