Job summary

Start Monday is seeking a skilled Combustion Service Engineer to cover Milton Keynes and surrounding areas, focusing on industrial steam and hot water boilers. You will service, maintain, repair, and commission equipment while conducting fault finding on gas and non-gas systems and performing gas safety inspections.

The role includes a £46,000 basic salary, door-to-door travel, overtime opportunities, a company van for personal use, and ongoing manufacturer training with clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing industrial steam or hot water boilers and a solid understanding of combustion systems.
• Manufacturer training will be provided for the right engineer.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing industrial steam and hot water boilers.
• Commissioning new equipment.
• Fault finding on gas and non-gas systems.
• Gas maintenance and gas safety inspections.
• Boiler upgrades and modifications.
• Carrying out site surveys.
• Completing risk assessments.
• Providing outstanding customer service.
• Supporting customers with technical advice when required.
