Job Description:

Cluster/Regional HR Manager – South Yorkshire / Lincolnshire areas. £45000 to £50000 DOE plus excellent benefits.

Your new role:

This UK based company with several sites in the leisure area are seeking a Cluster / Regional HR Manager for their “Midlands” sites – consisting of sites in Sheffield, Lincoln, Hull, and Grimsby. Reporting to the Group HR Manager and working closely with the site Operations Directors, you will be the regional Point of Contact for all HR related issues.

You will provide a full generalist HR and people service - covering all aspects of HR, recruitment, employee lifecycle, and employee relations. You will also drive the people agenda and strategy of the group concentrating on engagement, L&D/upskilling, and group-focused initiatives.

All the sites you will cover are unique:

  1. Sheffield – new opening in 2-3 months time. New employees and management team.
  2. Lincoln – described as “the dream” – engaged and high-performing staff who value HR input and its advice/guidance/support/upskilling and want more!
  3. Hull – similar to Lincoln.
  4. Grimsby - smaller site with a lot of long-serving staff who are a good-performing team.

Initially, your focus will be the new site in Sheffield for 3-4 months, but then you will split your focus and time/site at Sheffield/Lincoln/Hull – 30% and 10% Grimsby. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor or a seasoned HR Business Partner/Manager to join a high-performing organization that is growing.

NB: This role is regional – covering Sheffield, Lincoln, Hull, and Grimsby. For the first 3 months, the role will focus on the new site in Sheffield – then moving to 30% Sheffield/Lincoln/Hull with a small focus on Grimsby. There is flexibility and some home working, but presence is needed on each site. Mileage is paid to sites from your “base” site or home – whichever is closest.

What you'll need to succeed:

  1. Ideally, you will have a HR background in the leisure industry or a fast-paced environment / transferrable experience sector such as manufacturing, logistics, or care/homes.
  2. Be minimum Level 5 CIPD qualified (or similar level experience).
  3. Strong HR / ER knowledge and experience.
  4. Passionate about generalist HR provision and enhancing a performance culture through supporting and upskilling employees of all levels.

What you'll get in return:

The successful applicant will be offered a competitive salary of between £45000 and £50000 – DOE and qualifications.

  • Annual Bonus
  • Mileage/travel costs from base/home (whichever is closest)
  • Free onsite car parking
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays – with an additional 1 day holiday a year with length of service – maximum 30 days after 5 years service
  • Additional pension contribution
  • Various other benefits including discounts and Health/Wellbeing
