Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is seeking a Clinical Research Practitioner to deliver NIHR Portfolio studies across the Cheshire and Merseyside region. You will recruit participants, support study delivery, and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple health and care settings.

The role involves travel within the North West region and mentoring colleagues to develop a positive research culture. DBS checks are part of safeguarding patients and staff within NHS roles.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering NIHR portfolio studies.
• Proven ability to work across multiple settings with independence.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment and follow-up of research participants across sites.
• Ensure study procedures are conducted safely and in line with GCP.
• Deliver NIHR Portfolio studies and maintain quality documentation.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to colleagues and contribute to service improvement.
