Regional Clinical Development Nurse - RGN - Complex Care Homes

Location: Mix of remote work and travel to Care Homes in Worksop, Billingham, Peterlee, Darlington, Mansfield, Hull and Launceston

Pay: £55,000 to £60,000 plus £6500 car allowance

Hours: 40 hours per week

Overview

As a Regional Clinical Development Nurse, you’ll lead, support, and continuously improve clinical governance and the quality of care across complex care homes in England.

Key responsibilities
  • Supporting each care home to perform to the highest clinical standards
  • Reviewing monthly clinical governance KPIs and identifying strategies to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
  • Working with Managing Directors, senior clinical staff, and improvement specialists to implement action plans
  • Organising training, supporting recruitment of senior clinical staff, and leading clinical investigations
  • Regular travel between sites to provide hands-on leadership
Essential Criteria
  • Current NMC registration as an RGN
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Experience working in a care home environment
  • Confident clinical mentor, including for newly-qualified nurses
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to implement action plans and drive results
  • Willingness to travel regularly across multiple sites
