Job summary

GXO Logistics Ltd. is seeking an experienced Regional Class 2 Driver to handle store-to-home deliveries from Beckton, Yeading and Dartford. You will deliver to customers’ rooms, maintain accurate driving records, and ensure correct products and documentation are provided at delivery.

The role requires on-site work at multiple locations with flexibility for MIAB-qualified drivers. It offers full-time hours and a permanent contract in a customer-focused delivery team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Class 2 (Cat C) driver delivering to customers.
• HIAB qualification encouraged.
• Good time management and record-keeping in line with WTD regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide multi‑drop home deliveries directly to customers, averaging 16–24 drops per day.
• Maintain driving/working time records as required by WTD regulations using Tachomaster and manual entries.
• Operate company vehicles safely, legally, and efficiently.
• Check off products on delivery notes and ensure correct items and paperwork are provided to customers.
• Inform customers of ETA and communicate any delivery issues politely.

Here at GXO, we’re working together with B&Q and are looking for highly experienced Regional Class 2 Driver to join our Store to Home team (applications from HIAB-qualified drivers are encouraged). In this role you will support deliveries from our Beckton, Yeading and Dartford stores therefore flexibility is essential.

What you’ll do on a typical day

• Providing multi‑drop home deliveries directly to the customer’s chosen room, averaging 16 deliveries per day in quieter months and up to 24 during peak season
• Maintain accurate driving/working time records using the Tachomaster system and manual entries to record all working hours as required by the WTD regulations
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner
• Ensure all products are checked off the vehicle and the customer receive the correct products and delivery documentation
• Keep customers informed of their estimated time of delivery and where issues occur communicate with in a polite and courteous manner
