Job description

At Jensten Insurance Brokers, we’re proud to be one of the UK’s fastest-growing insurance groups. We’re now looking for an experienced Regional Claims Manager with a strong background in commercial claims to lead our dedicated team in Leeds.

About the Role
As Claims Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of a high-quality claims service. You’ll lead a team of claims professionals, ensuring efficient handling, reduced claims costs, and excellent client outcomes. This is a key leadership role where your expertise in commercial claims will help shape our service and support the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the claims team to deliver outstanding service to clients and insurers
  • Oversee the handling of complex and high-value commercial claims
  • Build strong relationships with insurers, TPAs, loss adjusters, and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor claims activity, analyse trends, and report on performance
  • Act as a referral point for complex cases and support team development
  • Implement processes to improve claims handling and ensure compliance with SLAs
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and performance management to team members
  • Collaborate across the Jensten Group to share best practices and drive consistency

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in commercial claims handling and management
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
  • A customer-focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
  • Ability to analyse data and identify trends to inform decision-making
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, office-based environment

We are open to candidates being hybrid to either our Leeds or Shipley offices.
