Regional Catering Sales Manager

London & South-West

GBP40,000 - GBP45,000 plus company car & excellent benefits

Function

Become the main point of contact between Major Account/Client and the company, maintaining high standards of service delivery to internal and external customers. Provide technical consultation via phone, web, or face-to-face; collaborate with Franchisees, Operations, Equipment, Construction Department, and Service Companies.

This role covers the South-West as far as Salisbury and the London Region. Travel to client sites 3-4 days per week is required.

Responsibilities:

Customer Contact:

  • Visit client sites as required
  • Produce schedules and timelines
  • Gather future business information
  • Discuss and resolve open issues
  • Act as primary contact for customer issues and account balances
  • Communicate internally with departments such as Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing
  • Address customer questions regarding sales contracts and resolve issues
  • Verify order accuracy for computer entry
  • Prepare and send sales contracts and correspondence

Order Fulfillment & New Site/Remodel Sales:

  • Gather information for customer site orders
  • Make necessary changes to equipment orders
  • Follow up with customers to obtain sales orders
  • Invoice contracts
  • Ensure timely release of sales orders and contracts
  • Manage projects from start to completion
  • Handle excess and obsolete inventory issues

Shipping:

  • Communicate shipping information and timelines
  • Explore improved shipping and delivery methods

Installation:

  • Communicate job-site requirements
  • Visit and inspect sites as needed
  • Address installation issues with internal teams
  • Assist installers and resolve problems
  • Arrange shipment of items for installation
  • Follow up on open issues to ensure customer satisfaction

Resupply:

  • Provide technical sales and selection consultations
  • Promote the company as a resupply partner
  • Address and resolve customer issues
  • Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction
