At Connected Health, we're looking for an ambitious and motivated Regional Care Manager to lead, support and develop our Area Care Managers across designated Health and Social Care Trusts in Northern Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of regional operations, shape high-performing teams and drive the continued growth of our services, all while ensuring our clients receive the highest standards of safe, compassionate and person-centred care. You'll be supported by our dedicated Belfast Head Office team and a wider network of Area Care Managers, Senior Care Assistants, Care Assistants, Care Navigators and support colleagues. You'll play a key role in developing future leaders, strengthening community relationships and ensuring our services continue to meet the highest regulatory and quality standards. If you're a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a genuine impact, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing

As Regional Care Manager, you'll lead from the front, empowering your teams to succeed while maintaining excellent standards across your region.

  • Lead and inspire: Manage, mentor and develop a team of Area Care Managers, providing ongoing guidance, coaching, training and support to help them reach their full potential.
  • Drive quality and compliance: Oversee audits, staff and client records, investigations, safeguarding concerns and complaints, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, policies and RQIA standards.
  • Deliver outstanding care: Champion safe, effective and person-centred homecare, working with your teams to continually improve the experience of our clients.
  • Support operational excellence: Oversee regional performance, monitor KPIs and report on progress, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, performance and service delivery.
  • Build strong relationships: Work collaboratively with Health and Social Care Trusts, community stakeholders and internal teams to strengthen partnerships and support the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Drive growth and development: Identify opportunities to expand services, develop local teams and support the continued growth of Connected Health across Northern Ireland.
  • Keep services running smoothly: Provide operational cover when required, supporting Area Care Managers during periods of annual leave, sickness or emergencies, including occasional on-call support and community-based cover.
  • Develop future leaders: Support the induction, supervision, appraisals and ongoing development of Area Care Managers, creating a positive culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain strong operational standards: Oversee staffing, rotas, annual leave and working time compliance, ensuring resources are managed effectively and fairly.

Occasional travel to our Belfast Head Office will be required for meetings.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a confident, people-focused leader who combines operational expertise with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding care.

Essential criteria
  • 3-5 years' experience in a demanding, high-performing environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Previous experience working within domiciliary care.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, develop and retain high-performing teams.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to manage challenging situations and complaints professionally.
  • A compassionate, solutions-focused approach, with the commitment to quality, dignity and person-centred care.
  • A strategic and proactive mindset, with the ambition to identify opportunities for service improvement and business growth.
  • Flexibility to support community-based services when required, including covering sickness, annual leave and emergencies.
  • Willingness to work towards an NVQ Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care.
  • A current, full UK driving licence.

The driving licence requirement will be waived where an applicant's disability prevents them from driving, provided suitable alternative arrangements can be organised.

What's in It for You?
  • Competitive annual salary reflecting the importance of your role.
  • Uncapped bonus and rewards opportunities, recognising your performance and contribution.
  • Up to £2,000 per year in KPI bonuses, giving you the opportunity to be rewarded for achieving key targets.
