Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle Limited is seeking a Regional Care Assistant to support residents across our Weybridge home and neighbouring sites. You will travel between luxury care homes, delivering person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity and wellbeing, with travel expenses paid for.

A full UK driving licence and daily access to a car are required to travel to homes across the portfolio. No prior care experience is mandatory, but empathy and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must show kindness, compassion and empathy in all that you do.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and basic IT skills.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care is a big advantage.

Responsibilities

What you will do

As a Regional Care Assistant, you will be flexible and available to travel across our home portfolio. You will be responsible for delivering person centred care to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity and overall wellbeing at all times. You will be providing care that is directly in line with the resident's care plan; assisting them with their mobility, food and fluid intake, personal care, resident-led activities and so much more. Although you don’t need experience to become a Regional Care Assistant, you must show kindness, compassion and empathy in all that you do. It is a requirement to have good written and verbal communication skills and basic IT skills. An NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care is a big advantage.

Travel Requirements

You must have a full UK driving licence and daily access to a reliable vehicle as this position will require travel to our luxury care homes across our portfolio.

Your travel expenses will be covered by us - 55p per mile by car.

What Signature offer

• £14.42 hourly rate, £15.42 per hour for weekday night shifts and £16.42 for weekend night shifts
• £14.42 per hour for weekdays shifts and £15.42 per hour for weekend day shifts
• Full Time (3 shifts) / Part Time (2 shifts) Days or Night shifts available
• Bank shifts available (0 contracted hours per week, as and when available)
• Shift times vary depending on which home you are working at
• Up to 30 days annual leave, plus 8 bank holidays, depending on length of service (annual leave accrued for Bank workers)
