Job summary

Signature is seeking a Regional Care Assistant to travel across our luxury care homes, delivering person-centred care and supporting residents' independence, dignity and wellbeing.

No experience required, but kindness, empathy and good communication are essential. An NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is a big advantage; a UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required. Travel expenses are paid, at 55p per mile; shifts include days and nights.

• You don’t need experience to become a Regional Care Assistant, but kindness, compassion and empathy are essential.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and basic IT skills required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred care to residents, promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing.
• Assist residents with mobility, meals, fluids, personal care and activities.
• Support residents in accordance with their care plans and daily routines.

• £14.42 hourly rate, £15.42 per hour for weekday night shifts and £16.42 for weekend night shifts
• £14.42 per hour for weekdays shifts and £15.42 per hour for weekend day shifts
• Travel expenses paid - 55p per mile
• Full Time (3 shifts) / Part Time (2 shifts) Days or Night shifts available
• Bank shifts available (0 contracted hours per week, as and when available)
• Shift times vary depending on which home you are working at
• Up to 30 days annual leave, plus 8 bank holidays, depending on length of service (annual leave accrued for Bank workers)

Your Role at Signature

As a Regional Care Assistant, you will be flexible and available to travel across our home portfolio. You will be responsible for delivering person centred care to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity and overall wellbeing at all times. You will be providing care that is directly in line with the resident's care plan; assisting them with their mobility, food and fluid intake, personal care, resident-led activities and so much more. Travel Requirements
