Concrete Repairs Limited (CRL) is the UK s leading specialist contractor for the inspection, repair, and management of concrete structures.

We are now recruiting for a Regional Buyer to develop dependably supply sources and purchase / hire all materials & plant to the Company s business requirements.

You will assist with Supply Chain management to ensure a high standard of quality is maintained.

As our Regional Buyer you will be specifically responsible for:

  • Act as the main point of contact for all Materials, Plant, and PPE purchasing.
  • Manage procurement through internal databases and software, including raising purchase orders.
  • Source quotes, build supplier relationships, and maintain supplier account records.
  • Coordinate vehicle hire and manage associated logs and insurance.
  • Log, track, and audit tools and plant equipment to ensure servicing, calibration, and correct location.
  • Maintain office and external stores, ensuring all materials and equipment are recorded with necessary compliance documentation.
  • Liaise with Contracts teams to reduce waste and manage resource availability.
  • Maintain Regional PPE and Asset Registers.
  • Support product research and development aligned with environmental and social value goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the Regional Admin & Procurement team to ensure accurate invoicing and reporting.
  • Provide cover and support to other team members when required.
  • Assist HR and Training in onboarding and developing procurement staff.
  • Promote innovation, professionalism, and high standards across all procurement activities.
  • Contribute to health & safety, sustainability, and social value objectives.

In order to be successful in this role you must have / be:

  • Significant previous experience as a Buyer, preferably within the construction industry.
  • A-Level / NVQ Level 3, or equivalent qualification.
  • Fully conversant with modern office equipment and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • A full UK Driver s license.
  • Written and verbal reporting / presentation skills.
  • The ability to mentor other team members within the procurement team.
  • Strong organisational and negotiation skills.
  • A keen attention to detail whilst being able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
