Business Development Consultant

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Consultant to join a privately owned leasing and fleet management company. This is a full-time, permanent position based in our Derby office, with a competitive salary, company car, uncapped commission, and 22 days of holiday plus bank holidays.

Your main focus will be vehicle contract hire & leasing. You will build your own portfolio of SME leasing business within a designated sales territory. The role involves:

  • Building and maintaining a prospect/client database via CRM.
  • Prospecting through cold calling, face-to-face meetings, emails, and other channels to create sales opportunities.
  • Visiting prospects/clients to promote vehicle contract hire solutions.
  • Writing sales proposals and generating quotations.

Ideal candidates will have a B2B sales background, preferably with automotive experience, excellent communication and IT skills, a likable personality, and a strong desire to succeed.
