Global Business Process Owner (G BPO) for the Procurement domain (SRM) is responsible for supporting our new ERP program, UNIFY.

This position will focus on defining, documenting, and optimizing our ETO domain business processes to ensure seamless integration within the new UNIFY system. The role involves driving successful implementation and optimization of domain processes across regions, aligning with best practices, organizational goals, and the UNIFY program.

UNIFY aims to simplify and standardize our end-to-end sales order to customer delivery journey by deploying standard processes & using a single public cloud SAP solution. It’s an ambitious program for which G ETO is building a team to address all sites in multiple waves.

The role requires an experienced Business Process Owner (BPO) in Engineering to-Order (ETO) for SRM/Procurement to join our Procurement team and support the UNIFY ERP implementation. The BPO will bring process expertise to align the business with the UNIFY standard.

The Global ETO Business Process Owner (BPO in SRM/Procurement) will lead site transformations and deploy the solution with global teams, overseeing the SRM/Procurement domain.

The BPO reports to the Global ETO Procurement team, aligns with the Business Process Owner in the central team (GSC BPO Procurement), and acts within one of the Unify squads. They are recognized as the domain process expert and contribute to the domain community.

This role offers broad process understanding, high learning and exposure opportunities, and a chance to help build the future global ETO Procurement backbone.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with regional Digital Process Experts and site Domain Team Leaders.
  • Identify gaps and challenges; support the definition of AS IS and TO BE processes to optimize deployment.
  • Align business processes with UNIFY standards and arbitrate requirements versus core processes.
  • Support business transformation, ensure adoption, and act as a safeguard for Lean principles and SPS referential.
  • Support data transformation and migration within your domain.
  • Participate in acceptance meetings, support go-live, cutover strategy, and ramp-up activities.
  • Develop and lead training for site key users to ensure sustainable transformation.
  • Capitalize on best practices and support Level 1 support.
  • Monitor program status, maintain documentation, and communicate with management.
  • Ensure readiness milestones are achieved, and participate in workshops and standardization activities.
  • Manage data strategies with data stewards.
  • Process Documentation: Map, document, and standardize ETO procurement processes, collaborating with stakeholders and the Global ETO Effectiveness team.
  • Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy the UNIFY ERP system, ensuring regional and factory alignment.
  • Training & Support: Create training materials and conduct workshops on new processes and system functionalities.
  • Change Management: Communicate process changes and impacts effectively.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics for process effectiveness and contribute to continuous improvement.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering Management, Business Administration, or related; Master’s preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing operations, business process analysis, project management, and processes within an ETO environment.
  • Experience in Program management and ERP procurement systems.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools and methodologies.
  • Innovative mindset for driving transformations.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for deployment activities.
  • Leadership qualities: influence, change management, facilitation, results orientation, ability to handle ambiguity.

Knowledge of procurement (SRM), ERP procurement processes, PES Audit, and procurement KPIs is essential.
