Job summary

WATG and Wimberly Interiors in London are seeking a Regional Design Technology Manager. The role focuses on coordinating and deploying design-technology software across the firm, with emphasis on Revit, Dynamo, Rhino, Grasshopper, and related plugins to support BIM workflows.

You'll lead global BIM standards, drive cloud-based platforms, and collaborate with project teams to improve delivery while staying current with industry advances in design technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, computational design or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Rhino, Grasshopper, Revit, BIM/3D modeling, and visualization tools.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Experience with acceleration, analysis, automation, and customization tools.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Persuasive communication skills in a rapidly changing landscape of design and delivery tools.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to our comprehensive global BIM strategy aligned with organizational goals, considering industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory requirements.
• Contributes to developing, implementing, and maintaining global BIM standards, procedures, and workflows for the firm to ensure consistency and quality across projects and teams globally.
• Promotes and facilitates interdisciplinary collaboration and integration of BIM across departments, stakeholders, and project teams to enhance project delivery and performance.
• Guides initial project setup and consultant onboarding processes to ensure best practices and maximum usability of our building information modeling data.
• Collaborates with project teams to assist with complex workflows and tasks, including the development of project‑specific code and applications.
