Elysium Healthcare is recruiting UK Registered Nurses (RMN or RNLD) to join our nurse staff bank across Wellesley Hospital in Wellington and regional services Exeter - Pinhoe View and The Woodmill. Induction is paid and shifts are booked via an app, with no minimum hours.

You’ll work 12.5 hour shifts, on a zero hour contract, choosing available weekdays, nights and weekends. Enjoy an hourly rate of £18.75 plus a 12.07% uplift for holiday leave, plus benefits such as free meals on duty.

There is no minimum number of hours that you need to work, although it is recommended to work as often as you can to ensure your induction knowledge and familiarity with the service is retained.

Weekdays, nights and weekend shifts are regularly available, which are easy to view and book through an app. Within a few taps you’ll have the nursing shifts at Wellesley Hospital, Pinhoe View or The Woodmill secured that you want.

Whether your nursing experience is from the NHS or private sector, you can join the team as a Bank Nurse with an hourly rate that includes a 12.07% uplift to cover annual leave, plus have access to a range of benefits including free meals on duty, and more.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD) you will provide high-quality evidence-based care to men and women with mental health conditions in Mental Health service, while supporting your colleagues and promoting good teamwork.

The service operates 24/7 with 12.5 hour standard shifts. As a nurse on our bank you’ll be on a zero hour contract, giving you the freedom to choose which shifts you want to work each week.

Where You Will Be Working

You will have the option to pick up shifts across 3 of our sites

You will be working at Wellesley Hospital, a purpose built 101 bed hospital in Wellington (Somerset) for men and women with mental health needs.

There are 6 wards for people with mental health needs and 1 ward for people with Learning Disabilities and Autism.

The Wellesley Hospital built in 2017 works alongside Devon Partnership NHS Trust, Avon and Wiltshire Foundation Trust, Cornwall Foundation Trust, 2gether Foundation Trust, and Livewell to deliver the best possible environment for patients with mental health issues.

Location: Pinhoe View, College Way, Exeter, EX1 3PZ

Pinhoe View is a new purpose-built facility where a range of mental health services are provided for adults with acute mental health conditions across two wards in this 36 bed service.

The 24-hour acute inpatient service is supported by a full multidisciplinary team, which specialises in the assessment, treatment and stabilisation of people suffering from a significant mental health episode and in crisis

The Woodmill is an 18 bed rehabilitation service for women with complex emotional and mental health needs.

The 18 bed unit creates a pathway for patients to step down through their recovery. Ivy is a 6 bed admission area and Rose is a 12 bed rehabilitation area, with the option to flex within the 12 bed area to a four bed section that can create a further step down with a separate entrance for those patients that are progressing well and are preparing for discharge to the community.

The aim of the service is to support women to improve their self-worth, build a better quality of life for themselves and to equip them with the skills needed for community living and increased independence.
