We’re looking for a Regional AV Engineer, ideally based in the Berkshire or surrounding area, to support and maintain AV systems across multiple sites. In this role, you’ll be the first line of response to technical issues within your region, building strong relationships with on-site staff and serving as their key point of contact for support. You’ll take the lead on local installations and be responsible for completing site surveys for upgrades and replacements.
As part of your role, you’ll manage and maintain your vehicle and AV kit, ensuring it's replenished and ready for use. While primarily region-based, you should also be prepared to travel to the head office in Sheffield when required to assist with rack building and equipment preparation. Required Experience and Skills
- Prior AV experience (Video & Projection as a primary focus are a bonus) with a range of professional experience such as end to end projects, new system set up, user training, problem solving etc.
- Experience documenting procedures and process with the ability to train others would be beneficial
- Experience in basic video editing, presentation creation, and Photoshop skills
- Proactive & resourceful — ability to identify issues quickly and develop practical solutions
- Ability to travel and be away from home regularly (within the UK)
- Full UK driving licence

Key Responsibilities
- Train site staff on how to operate day-to-day services and basic system operations
- Ensure the smooth operation of AV events at the venue
- Schedule maintenance tasks for AV equipment
- Work with the internal creative team to ensure content is tested and delivered in the correct event formats
- Resolve problems dynamically as issues arise
- Document issues and feedback to help develop future solutions
- Communicate with venue operations staff and customers about service elements and demonstrate equipment functionalities to support sales
- Assist project producers/product managers in productisation efforts within the trial venue
- Provide feedback to developers, testers, and support teams to manage delivery of improvements and new products
- Support the launch of new features and product improvements through Customer Success, Customer Services, Marketing, and Go-to-Market teams
- Support change management initiatives for impacted stakeholders
- Help identify risks and issues
- Provide support to the wider team on less busy site days
- Maintain communication with stakeholders across the business
- Get hands-on with a small, fast-moving team
