Job description

A varied and interesting role working closely with the Operations Director and the Regional Management team, providing administrative and secretarial support whilst ensuring the smooth operation of the Cymru Offices.

The successful candidate will need to live in Wales.

The hours of work are 30 hours a week with some flexibility on days. The full-time salary is £24,637.57, pro-rata salary of £19,710.06.

About the role

Your main duties will include:

  • Providing administrative and secretarial support to the Operations Director in performing his/her role, acting as a point of contact both internally and externally in the Operations Director's absence.
  • Key point of contact both over the telephone and in written communication for the Cymru office.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate administrative systems, records and filing systems on behalf of Dimensions Cymru, arrange and minute meetings, produce letters, reports and other documents as required.
  • Ensure the provision of all supplies including adequate stationery, furniture and office equipment, reporting any defects.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Previous experience with an administrative or secretarial role
  • Able to use a variety of software packages (e.g., Word, e-mail, internet, databases)
  • Experience working as part of a team in a busy working environment
  • Able to work flexibly, prioritize duties as required and recognize the demands placed on other team members.
