Job Description:

Our client, a longstanding and innovative organisation, is a major producer of metalworking tools including turning, grooving, milling, and boring tools. Their products serve the Manufacturing, Automotive, and Aerospace sectors. They are seeking a talented Regional Applications Engineer to support customer relationships within their sales network.

The successful candidate will support the promotion of high-quality cutting tools and solutions across the South West region (postcodes TR, PL, EX, TQ, TA, BS, BA). Ideally based centrally within the territory, though location is flexible.

Responsibilities include working within the sales team, supporting an Area Sales Manager, and promoting products to various sectors. A strong CNC background is essential, with experience as a Miller, Turner, Setter, or Operator preferred. Qualifications such as ONC/HNC Mechanical Engineering or CNC experience from a relevant apprenticeship are desirable. Experience in Cutting Tools sales and CAD/CAM skills are advantageous.
