An established industry player is seeking a talented Regional Applications Engineer to join their innovative team. £42,000 - £44,000 + bonus, commission, FE car + benefits
Location: South West (Postcodes TR, PL, EX, TQ, TA, BS, BA). Ideally based in the centre of the area.
This successful, longstanding, and innovative organisation is a major player in producing a range of tools for metalwork, including turning, grooving, milling, and boring. Their products serve sectors such as Manufacturing, Automotive, and Aerospace. They are seeking a talented Regional Applications Engineer to strengthen their team.
You will utilize your technical and commercial skills to support the development of customer relationships within direct and distribution networks. Working within the sales team and reporting to the Regional Manager, you will cover the South West territory. While being based centrally is preferred due to the territory size, it is not essential.
Supporting an Area Sales Manager, your responsibilities include promoting high-quality cutting tools and solutions across various sectors. A strong CNC background is essential, with experience as a Miller, Turner, Setter, or Operator preferred. Qualifications such as ONC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or CNC experience from a relevant apprenticeship are desirable. Experience in Cutting Tools sales with distributors or direct customers is advantageous but not mandatory. CAD/CAM experience would be highly beneficial.
