Job Description:

As a Regional Admissions Co-ordinator at HC-One, you’ll be responsible for driving new and existing business into homes across the area, building and maintaining high occupancy in line with the homes’ commercial strategy, focusing on private pay and public pay admissions with third-party top-ups.

Main Activities

  • Develop and implement sales, marketing, and awareness programmes to promote the home within the local community, targeting potential private fee payers.
  • Present ideas for increasing revenue to AD & CBP to support occupancy growth.
  • Monitor and report barriers to revenue opportunities.
  • Generate resident enquiries through community networking, support enquirers through viewings, assessments, tours, and admissions, maintaining contact with residents and families.
  • Organize community events to attract private pay residents and establish the home as a preferred choice.
  • Build relationships with local opinion leaders, influencers, and referrers; maintain contact databases.
  • Identify and utilize local community publications for promotion.
  • Support care home managers in maintaining high presentation standards.
  • Coordinate visitor tours and ensure quality standards for showrooms.
  • Collaborate with marketing team for advertising and awareness campaigns.
  • Assist the care home admin team with enquiry management, providing staff training as needed.
  • Visit local health and social care settings to build referral networks.
  • Work with wellbeing coordinators on resident events and maximize exposure through local advertising.
  • Use hospitality skills to ensure staff training on enquiry handling and tours.
  • Monitor financial budgets, occupancy, and enquiries; prepare reports on operational metrics.
  • Create positive news stories and analyze management data for opportunities.

Additional responsibilities for all colleagues:

Adhere to HC One policies on health, safety, hygiene, and infection control. Perform other duties as assigned, with role profile updates as necessary.
