Job description

First Century Bank is looking for a full-time Regional Account Executive to join its team. This individual will be responsible for soliciting new deposit business from HOA Management Companies and securing HOA loans. The role involves gathering initial documents, calling references, presenting loan requests to the credit officer, and conducting outreach to bring HOA Management Company deposits to First Century Bank, N.A.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  1. Build and maintain appropriate relationships with Management Companies, the national HOA community, and other resources to cultivate contacts for management companies that may be open to moving financial banking relationships or generating HOA loans.
  2. Maintain open communication with industry resources to stay informed of new financing opportunities in the market.
  3. Gather required information from Management Companies requesting loans, including prequalification documentation from the association. Work closely with the credit officer to collect additional information when needed. Act as the liaison between management companies, associations, and the bank through the closing process.
  4. Assist the Credit Officer in preparing loan application write-ups.
  5. Coordinate with the Credit Officer, loan operations, and ACH departments to ensure proper repayment setup.
  6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FCB policies, procedures, and changes related to HOA lending, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Knowledge of expense management procedures is also required.
  7. Coordinate with participant banks on loan participations, ensuring proper documentation and information transfer for successful completion.

Portfolio Management:

  1. Regularly review the portfolio to maintain relationships and service existing deposit and loan accounts, including contact with customers, exception handling, documentation, renewals, and overdue accounts.
  2. Manage the existing portfolio actively, including inspections, project progress monitoring, and understanding market conditions.
  3. Address loan exceptions and past due accounts through reporting and follow-up.

Territory Management and Development - Community Association Industry

  1. Identify, target, and develop relationships with management companies and large managed community associations within the territory. Participate actively in professional associations and events such as trade shows.
  2. Grow deposits within the territory, including operating and reserve accounts. Serve as a liaison to internal departments to facilitate account opening and documentation gathering.
  3. Perform other duties as assigned or that logically belong to the position.

Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree and five or more years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required.
