Job summary

North Devon District Council is seeking a proactive Project Officer to help deliver an exciting programme of regeneration projects across North Devon. You’ll work with our Place Managers, businesses and communities from idea through to delivery, identifying funding opportunities and preparing bids.

With strong project management, research, organisation and report-writing skills, you will develop costings, programmes and business plans, ensuring priorities stay on track and projects come to life

Qualifications

• Excellent project management, research, organisation and report-writing skills.
• Experience in regeneration or local government is advantageous.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver within deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects from idea through to delivery across North Devon.
• Identify funding opportunities and prepare bids with costings and programmes.
• Develop business plans to turn ideas into deliverable schemes.
• Collaborate with Place Managers, businesses, communities, councillors and the public.
