A local government council in Scotland is seeking a Refuse & Recycling Operative for a fixed-term position. You will be responsible for collecting refuse and recycling materials. The ideal candidate should have a working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements and be able to work effectively as part of a team. This role includes driving responsibilities for allocated vehicles. The position offers a competitive salary and a range of employee benefits.

£25,305 - £25,737
Duties will include:-
An excellent opportunity has arisen for recruitment within Facilities Waste and Neighbourhood Services.
We deliver a wide variety of frontline services and require a Senior Refuse & Recycling Operative
You will be expected to carry out various duties as instructed by the Waste Supervisor and have a working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements. You will be required to work as a team member.
This post is subject to candidate vetting through Disclosure Scotland.
You will be educated to Standard Grade Level.
Full valid current driving licence would be beneficial but not essential for this position.
These posts are fixed for up to 12 months.
These posts may be suitable for secondment. Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying for this post.
