Refuse Recycling Maintenance Technician - Multi-Site

Location: Two Environmental Refuse & Recycling Sites Brentford and Ruislip

Full-Time | Temp to Perm (immediate start)

Transport and Driving Licence Required

Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate, inspect, and maintain machinery such as cardboard bailers, compactors, and mechanical waste bins.
  • Manual Waste Sorting: Sort and segregate waste materials by hand to ensure compliance with recycling protocols.
  • Repairs & Troubleshooting: Identify mechanical faults and carry out timely repairs to reduce downtime.
  • Site Cleanliness & Management: Keep waste yards and surrounding areas clean, clear spillages, and transport or empty bins as needed.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Work in line with all site safety and environmental regulations; use PPE correctly and follow safe work procedures.
  • Reporting & Communication: Log maintenance issues and consumable usage; communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors.
