Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is recruiting a Refuse Collection Loader to join a team of valued key workers. This role offers a fantastic work-life balance with pre-planned routes and set start and finish times, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

You will carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, use in-cab technology, complete paperwork in real time, and perform safety checks on machinery and vehicles while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Qualifications

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and reliable.
• Willingness to undertake tasks; previous experience desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily with safe lifting and handling techniques.
• Operate in-cab technology/mobile devices as directed.
• Complete relevant paperwork in real time.
• Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after usage.
• Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.
• Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public.

As a Refuse Collection loader, you'll:

• Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job
• Undertake all duties in a professional manner, deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to the articles left for removal
• Use in-cab technology/mobile devices as directed
• Complete relevant paperwork in real time.
• Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after usage
• Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles
• Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public

Your typical working hours will be:

• 700am to 3.30pm - Monday - Friday
