Job summary

Thorn Baker Recruitment is seeking Refuse Loaders to join a busy local authority team in Ilkeston. You will collect household waste, recycling, bulky items, and garden waste, performing hands-on outdoor tasks with a strong emphasis on safety.

Refuse Loader – £12.71 per hour – Ilkeston (DE7)

Are you physically fit and enjoy working outdoors? We’re currently recruiting Refuse Loaders to join a busy local authority team in Ilkeston. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll help collect household waste, recycling, bulky items, and garden waste, providing an essential service to the local community.

• £12.71 per hour
• Paid until finish – complete your round early and still get paid
• Weekly pay
• Overtime available at enhanced rates
• Pay increase after 12 weeks

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 06:30 – Zone is finished
• Overtime available during the week and weekends
