Job description

Our client is looking to recruit Loaders for routes in the Cullompton areas.

Initially a 3-month temporary assignment but will lead to a permanent contract for the right candidates.

Package
  • £12.85ph , going up to £13.26 ph after 12 weeks
  • Weekly pay
  • Mon-Fri 06:00 start , 7.5 hours a day.
  • Holiday pay accrued on top
  • Bank Holidays off and covered with Saturday shifts

Duties
  • You will be working as part of the waste and refuse team, working on routes throughout the area, working as part of a team to collect recycling and waste
  • You will have ideally have experience of recycling, a knowledge of manual handling procedures, be flexible to working practices and possess great communication skills.
  • Ensuring all Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to and to be aware of all procedures relating to the safe operation of the waste service.
  • Help prepare the vehicle for unloading and remove all recycling materials on return to the depot.
Requirements
  • Happy to work in a manual role that requires you to be on your feet all day
  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations and ideally experience in a similar role
  • Good customer service skills when interacting with the general public
  • Reliable approach to work
  • Team player but also able to work on own initiative
